YORK 50+ FESTIVAL 2007

A FESTIVAL FOR THE YOUNG AT HEART

7,300 people enjoyed our second 50+ Festival in 2006

9 days

offering 70 events

organised by 130 enthusiastic individuals and groups.

It was a wonderful continuation of what is becoming an exciting annual event - if people want it, it will happen! This year we are delighted to welcome the first primary school and parish church as part of the Festival and look forward to other schools and churches following their successful lead. If the 50+ Festival is there for the whole community to enjoy - why not become part of the sharing? It only happens once a year but lasting bridges can be built if the will is there. Browse through the opportunities listed below, and, if you think something is missing, why not organise an event for next year? It's a grassroots festival and relies on your participation.

Information Fair

The Guildhall - Friday 14 Sept 07

The information Fair offers 24 advice and display stands!

Groups offering events in the Festival will have information and taster sessions at the Information Fair to whet appetites (click for details)
