Our public meetings are held at the Friends Meeting House, Friargate, York YO1 9RL from 2 pm to 4 pm. Refreshments available from 1.30 pm. All welcome.

End of Life Issues

b) Dr David Worth - retired consultant physician, York Hospital
c) Steve Redman - Care Not Killing

In a crowded hall it was evident that choices at the end of life are of vital interest to older people.

Monday 16 March
Sir Ron Cooke hosted a debate with representatives from the main Political Parties standing in
York Central and York Outer Constituencies. The hall was packed, interest was high and the questions and answers were challenging and insightful. Election Day, 7 May, will be interesting....

Heather Barden on living independently (Be Independent)

Leader of City of York Council
Following the Local Elections on 7 May the Leader of the Council will address the meeting
and be open to all questions.

Guest Speaker: Dean of York, Vivienne Faull.

Monday 16 November
Parkinson's and Diabetes
Speakers will update the meeting on challenges and opportunities for those affected.
