The York Older People's Assembly

in association with The Press, and sponsored by Age UK York,
Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors and the Foresters Friendly Society

Welcome to our 12th Annual 50+ Festival
9 days
24 Sept - 2 Oct 2016

offering over 120 diverse events
organised by local enthusiastic individuals and groups

With a successful 11 year track record the 50+ Festival is now firmly on the York calendar for citizens and visitors to enjoy.
The 50+ Festival is a grassroots affair put on by people who want to share what they have to offer with the community.
What is a taster session today may well become a regular weekly h0bby as people discover new interests and ways of keeping healthy in body and mind.

FULL OF LIFE, a government initiative, promotes a celebration of the International Day of Older People (1st October) all over the country.
Our festival preceded them by about 3 years and we are delighted now to be able to join with other villages, towns and cities in national recognition of the vast resources inherent in Britain's older population.
